Nancy Byrne has a masters degree in education, has taught in the Public School system and has an in depth understanding of specialized instruction. Nancy is dedicated to advocating for children with special needs and is a member of COPAA the Council of Parents Attorneys and Advocates. Nancy organized the first public hearing with a local Board of Education in the State of Connecticut utilizing petitioning rights granted to citizens by state law.

Maryann Lombardi is experienced in all phases of disability service, including participation on the quality improvement council, department of developmental services, community advisory committee, Benhaven residential, court appointed special advocate (Casa Gal), juvenile and probate courts, grassroots activist, has fought seclusion and restraint of students with disabilities on the state and national level.
